I’ve been thinking about using a chore app for my kids, like Levelty. Has anyone tried these? I’m curious about the good effects they might have. Do kids actually get more done? Learn responsibility? Any insights from parents who’ve used them would be great.
I’ve been using a chore app with my teens for a while now. It’s been pretty good overall. The kids seem to like seeing their progress, and it’s cut down on me having to remind them all the time.
One unexpected benefit was how it helped my older one with time management. She started planning her day better to fit in chores around homework and activities. My younger one got really into the rewards part. He even started suggesting extra chores to earn more points!
It’s not perfect though. We had to adjust things a few times to find what worked for us. And there were days when the novelty wore off and I had to encourage them to keep using it. But in general, it’s made chores less of a battle in our house.
My kids started using Levelty a few months ago. They’re more organized now and actually remember their chores without nagging.
It’s also helped them understand how chores fit into our daily routine. They seem to feel more part of the household.
I’m curious about chore apps too. My 5-year-old just started doing simple tasks like putting toys away.
We’ve been trying a mix of games and small rewards. Some days it works great, other days not so much. I wonder if an app would make things more consistent?
Has anyone found their kids stayed motivated long-term with these apps? Or did the excitement wear off? I’d love to hear about your experiences!
In our house, using a chore app has been a game-changer. My kid actually looks forward to checking off tasks now. It’s like a little adventure each day.
I’ve noticed my child taking more initiative around the house. The other day, I came home to find the living room tidied up without me saying a word. It was a pleasant surprise.
The app has also sparked some good conversations about responsibility and teamwork in our family. We’re learning together about what it means to contribute to the household.
We’ve been using Levelty for a while now. It’s made chores more fun for my kids. They like seeing their tasks checked off and earning points.
I’ve noticed they’re getting better at planning their day. My older one now does her chores right after school so she has free time later. The little one gets excited about earning rewards and sometimes asks for extra tasks.
It’s helped create a routine in our house. The kids know what’s expected and when. There are still days when they need reminders, but overall, it’s made things smoother.
The app has also shown them how their work helps the whole family. They seem proud when they finish their jobs. It’s nice to see them taking on more responsibility without a fuss.
