I’ve heard about this app called Levelty that’s supposed to help with teaching kids. Has anyone used it? I’m trying to find ways to help my kids learn self-regulation, and I like the idea of using positive reinforcement. Not sure how exactly Levelty works though. Any tips or experiences would be really helpful. Thanks!
Hey willd! I started using Levelty a few months ago with my kids and have seen benefits in teaching self-regulation. One thing that worked well for us was setting up small, achievable tasks such as practicing deep breaths or enjoying quiet time. The app made it easier to track these moments.
My teen who is 14 likes to see progress and finds it motivating. For my older teen, now 17, we work on bigger goals linked to managing stress during exam periods. The reward system is flexible so you can match it to your kids’ interests without overcomplicating things.
I learned that while the app is handy, sometimes a simple talk or even a hug works wonders. It took some trial and error to figure out what fits us best. Good luck finding what suits your family!
We’ve been trying out Levelty for a few weeks now. My kid likes the points system for things like taking deep breaths when frustrated. It’s made teaching self-regulation feel more like a game than a chore.
I’ve noticed my child is more aware of managing emotions now. We started small, focusing on one skill at a time. The app helps track progress, which my kid finds motivating.
It’s not perfect, but it’s been a useful tool in our toolkit. We still have plenty of offline moments for teaching self-regulation too.
I’ve found Levelty handy for everyday self-regulation tasks. The kids enjoy earning points for deep breaths and quiet moments. It offers a fun way to monitor progress without extra hassle.
I’ve been curious about Levelty too. My child who is five struggles with calming down sometimes. I tried setting up a sticker chart for deep breaths, but it was hard to keep track. Does Levelty make it easier to monitor those little moments? And how do you decide which skills to focus on? I’m still figuring out what’s realistic to expect at this age.

My 10-year-old likes seeing the progress charts. For my younger one, we focus on smaller goals like using kind words when frustrated.
